The AK Croc Rescue, located in parts of Anchorage and Fairbanks, is a nonprofit organization that serves to assist in the health and well-being of all crocodilian species that have been abandoned, surrendered, injured, malnourished, or harmed in the state of Alaska. Focusing primarily on stingrays and green tree monitors (partnered with the Reptile Barn), Jurassak offers extensive knowledge on biodiversity and conservation efforts in the world of the lesser-known critters!

One of the newest members of the herptile community, Ethical Axolotls is first and foremost, an axolotl husbandry education site. Their mission is to both provide excellent, well bred axolotls to pet parents everywhere, and to provide educated, loving pet parents for the axolotls to call family (or at least the person who the worm comes from).

The Alaska Herpetological Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the field of Herpetology in the State of Alaska. Their missions is to educate the public on updated care and husbandry guides, improving quality of life for captive care of reptiles and amphibians in Alaska which honoring the original intentions of education and preservation of our native cold-blooded wildlife.
