more ways to help:

At Jonathan's Reptiles, our mission is to provide our animals with the highest standard of care while educating the public. All proceeds from events, adoption fees, donations, and other sources go towards reptile care and rehabilitation. Here are a few ways you can help:

Donation

We work around the clock to care for rescued reptiles and appreciate any contribution towards the animals. We gladly accept and greatly appreciate any donations of funds, supplies, reptile food, and other items. Donation receipts can be provided upon request for tax write-offs.

Volunteer

Caring for reptiles is a lot of work. If you are interested in volunteering for events or regular animal care and maintenance, please contact us. Minimum volunteer age is 16. All volunteers need to be comfortable being in close proximity to exotic animals and be able to adhere to safety guidelines. While we appreciate and value additional help, due to the nature of the work, we reserve the right to be selective in our volunteer selection.

Contact us for more information about volunteering or to request a volunteer application!

Research

One of the best ways to help reduce the number of surrenders at the rescue is to research proper husbandry before committing to a new pet. We can help answer any questions you may have about your research to ensure the best life for your future reptile! A good place to start is the care sheets and manuals provided by Mariah Healey of REPTIFILES.
