One of the best ways to help the reduce the number of surrenders at the rescue is to research proper husbandry prior to commiting to a new pet. We can help answer any questions you may have about your research to ensure the best life for your future reptile! A good place to start is the care sheets and manuals provided by Mariah Healey of REPTIFILES.

Had a great time at one of our reptile events? Feel proud of yourself for overcoming a fear of snakes? In love with your adopted reptile?  Leave us a positive review on Google or our Facebook page!

At Jonathan's Reptiles, our mission is to provide our animals with the highest standard of care, while providing education to the public. All proceeds from events, adoption fees, donations, etc. goes towards reptile care and rehabilitation. Here are a few ways you can help!

100% of monetary donations will be used for supplies, food, and veterinary care for the reptiles, amphibians, and exotics in our care and expenses related to our operation.

Caring for reptiles is a lot of work. If you are interested in volunteering for events or regular animal care and maintenance, please contact us. Minimum volunteer age is 16. All volunteers need to be comfortable being in close proximity with exotic animals, and be able to adhere to safety guidelines. While we appreciate and value additional help, due to the nature of the work, we reserve to right to be selective with our volunteers.

Contact us for more information about volunteering or to request a volunteer application!
