Welcome to Jonathan's Reptiles, an accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in the heart of Wasilla, Alaska. Established in 2016, our mission is to provide a safe haven for reptiles in need and ensure their well-being. 100% of the proceeds from paid services and donations support our mission.

From 2016 to 2023 we were a rescue organization, but we are currently taking a hiatus from rescuing until we can raise funds and build a facility. We continue to serve the community by connecting owners wishing to surrender their animals with local keepers looking to adopt.

During our seven years of operation, we've helped rescue and rehabilitate over 500 herptiles and invertebrates, from the smallest frog to the largest monitor. We've put on an average of 60 public and private events per year, have helped owners ship their animals all over the world, and have found incredible forever homes for countless cold-blooded critters.

our mission

Jonathan's Reptiles is more than just an educational organization; it's a community of reptile lovers who come together to support and advocate for these incredible creatures. Whether you're a reptile enthusiast or simply curious about these fascinating animals, we welcome you to join our cause and help us to make a difference.

Jonathan's Reptiles provides education on reptile husbandry, community resources, emergency preparedness, and awareness with a focus on improving the lives of exotics and their keepers.
